Development and pilot testing of an intervention to relieve psychological distress among couples with preterm infants in Nigeria

Boladale Mapayi, the principal investigator, is a supervisor for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygeine (RSTMH) funded Early Career Grants Award being led and executed by Dr Ibidun Oloniniyi titled: Development and pilot testing of an intervention to relieve psychological distress among couples with preterm infants in Nigeria. 

The study aims to investigate the psychological distress associated with having preterm infants and evaluate the feasibility of using a psychological intervention to manage the distress among Nigerian couples with preterm infants.
