The third stakeholders’ meeting for the CARTA SHINE project took place on the 6th of October 2022 at the UI Hotels, Ibadan at 10.00 am.
In attendance were representatives from the Directorate of Student Affairs, the Student Union Government, the Gender mainstreaming office, researchers, and members of the antisexual harassment committee.
The discussions revolved around the need for training, not just for the RAs but also for other students and staff to know what to do when a survivor opens up to them. We also discussed the methodology of the study and helpful revisions were suggested. Attendees expressed excitement about the study and stated that the time was ripe for it.
