A Seminar at the Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, OAU
This seminar was held on Wednesday, 21st June 2023, at 10.00 am prompt. It was attended by 35 members of the Antisexual Harassment Committee and focal persons from the Faculties.
The PI shared insights from the CARTA Shine Project, while Prof Harrison talked about the principles of implementing prevention and response programs in educational institutions and Prof Morenike Ukpong led the discussion on the existing policy and encouraging reportage.
Important discussions on the state of prevention and response to sexual harassment in OAU were discussed, and participants proffered possible strategies to improve institutional support.
