The PI participated as a stakeholder in the development of the National Safe Motherhood Strategic framework on Accelerated Reduction of Maternal and Neonatal Mortality by the Federal Ministry of Health.
This was the first in a series of meetings to develop this important document. It is hoped that this document will facilitate the smooth implementation of safe motherhood interventions by government bodies and implementing partners and contribute to the improvement of maternal and newborn health indices in the country.
The program took place on Monday, 22nd to Friday 26th May, 2023 at the Dovers Hotel, Lagos State.
